Award-winning writer & actor Raven Smith loves a thrilling adventure with endless twists and turns, much like her own life! She is no stranger to the world of books, having self-published her first children’s book, “George’s Tales”, at the age of 9 ½. A born and raised Jersey girl, the coming-of-age heroines from her Off-Broadway debut “Delicacies” and short films such as “I Wish Those Were My Worries” are her bread and butter, and draw her to the slice-of-life dramas of tomorrow. A former girl scout (all the way up to the Junior rank!), FIREbowl member (she LOVES talking about this!), track & field sprinter, marching band captain, and yearbook editor, she’s led every life your high school protagonist can!

 

Obsessed with learning, she can pronounce more than a few words in German, French, and Spanish, plays several instruments, and has recently set her eye on fencing. When not in the booth, she enjoys traveling, playing pickleball, learning ASL, studying genealogy, and popping up at afternoon tea! With her dedication to practicing mindfulness, a self-help book can always be found in her bag. While children’s stories, middle grade, and YA novels are her forte, her passion for history and royal families has turned her home library into a collection of fantasy and historical fiction. Sleepy towns and grand palaces are no different to her youthful tone; its shades of caution and excitement breathe life into each and every character. With a BFA in Theatre and light work in the VO industry, Raven strives to give a voice to the voiceless and thrives in the unknown.
